Digital Dairy Chain

Invitation to Participate in Research Study

The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is leading a research study funded by the Hannah Dairy Research Foundation in collaboration with the Digital Dairy Chain, the University of Exeter, and Teagasc in Ireland, and with support from First Milk, DLF, Grahams, and Owen Farm Services.

The study explores the social impact that wearable technologies for cows (e.g. pedometers, biosensors, etc.) have on the daily work and wellbeing of dairy farmers.

If you are a dairy farmer or work in a Dairy Farm that uses, has used, or is thinking to use wearable technology, we would love to hear from you and learn from your experiences.

Our conversation, in person or online, will be confidential and last no longer than an hour. The aim of the study is to produce insights that will benefit farmers and the industry in general.

If you are interested in taking part or have any questions, please contact
Dr Vanesa Fuertes, [email protected] or Callum Knox, [email protected] from UWS.
