Scottish Enterprise: Funding for Development of Hydrogen Projects

This Scottish Government funding provides support for renewable hydrogen production projects.

The funding will help cover development costs for projects that focus on the low-cost, efficient, and sustainable production of renewable hydrogen.

‘Healthy Planet, Healthy People’: Community-led Award

‘Healthy Planet, Healthy People’: Community-led Awards are designed to support community-led research. The awards are available to cover eligible costs arising from a defined research project. Funding will be provided to support new and existing research projects that promote the health of individuals through fostering healthy environments and communities, and enabling access to healthy foods.

Innovate UK Smart Grants: July 2024

Funder: Innovate UK

UK registered organisations can apply for a share of up to £25 million for game-changing and commercially viable R&D innovations that can significantly impact the UK economy.

Innovate UK Smart grant has focused scope and eligibility criteria to support micro, small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and their partners in developing genuinely new innovations with significant potential for rapid economic return to the UK.

Cumbria Growth Hub Food & Drink Business Growth Programme

Funder: Cumbria Community Foundation via Cumberland Council

The initiative brings together a group of dynamic food and drink businesses, providing a unique opportunity to work on individual projects aimed at driving your business forward.

The programme starts late September and is open to all businesses across the food and drink sector in Cumberland.

Soil Sampling & Analysis for the Environmental Baselining Pilot

Application Deadline: 20 September 2024, 12pm

AHDB is undertaking environmental baselining work on a network of farms comprising approximately 170 farms across GB where it aims to establish a net carbon balance, taking account of GHG emissions and carbon sequestration (above and below ground) and capture a range of metrics of relevance to evaluating natural capital and monitoring the environmental impact of different land management approaches.

AHDB are seeking a partner to provide soil sampling and analysis services to inform the assessment of:
a) soil carbon stocks
b) soil nutrients, texture and biological indicators

NERC Large Grant Full Applications: November 2024

Our Large Grants are intended to support adventurous, large-scale and complex research, tackling big science questions that cannot be addressed through our other funding opportunities. You can submit an application in any area of environmental science, provided it is predominantly within a research area or subject associated with NERC’s remit.
